As a kid I had a Rubik’s cube, but after getting frustrated with it I broke it after peeling all of the coloured stickers off and sticking them back on in the right order, after that it wasn’t the same again, the glue never really stuck properly and one by one I lost a coloured sticker until I was eventually left with only half a coloured Rubik’s cube. I’m not exactly sure what happened to it after that but I guess I threw it out.
I am sure I wasn’t the only kid back then to get frustrated by it & try the same tactic, but a select few clearly never gave up trying, and practiced for hours upon hours to become a true Rubik’s cube master. enjoy

And just when you thought the world couldn’t get any stranger. Its September the 19th again so that means the Internet’s a buzz with pirates sayings such as Ahoy!, Shiver me timbers! and Arrr!. Since today is officially known by internet users as ‘International talk like a pirate day’ (ITLAPD), it all started back in 1995 as an inside joke between friends, John Baur & Mark Summers but it wasn’t until they submitted the idea about their invented holiday to humour columnist Dave Barry in 2002. that it spiralled out of control and became the global phenomenon it is today.
If your having a little trouble talking like a pirate, check out the official talk like a pirate day website over at talklikeapirate.com. Just remember not to go over board at work today, or they might just fire you like they did the office pirate, enjoy
I don’t really login to Google’s Webmaster Tools as often as I used to after discovering Google Analytics but I did happen to login today to find that they have recently updated it with a few improvements. I am still not sure whether I like the new navigation system yet, but they did introduce a cool new feature called ‘Subscriber Stats’, which displays the number of users who have subscribed to your feeds using google services such as Google Reader, Orkut and iGoogle. If you are interested, there is more information on the update over on the google webmaster blog.
Heroes is back for its second season this month, set to air on the 24th on NBC over in America that’s only 16 days from now, still no word on when season 2 will be airing over here in the UK. But it’s probably not going to be until next year now. since the BBC have managed to outbid the Sci-Fi channel & won the first run rights for Season 2, even though they haven’t finished showing the first season yet. which is annoying since I’ve already watched the entire first season on the Sci-Fi channel
Anyway the first episode is set four months after the events that took place at the end of season one, & from the trailer that I’ve posted below it looks like both Nathan Petrelli (Adrian Pasdar) & PeterPetrelli (Milo Ventimiglia) survived the explosion, in the trailer you see Nathan’s reflection in a broken mirror for a split second, & towards the end you see a glimpse of Peter. you also see Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg) & Sylar (Zachary Quinto) but we all knew Sylar would be back for season 2, after all you can’t keep a good villain down. The only character not seen in the trailer that had been fatally wounded or presumed dead at the end of season one, was D.L. Hawkins (Leonard Roberts) looks like the rumors floating around the Internet about this characters demise could be true.

The size of the iPod Touch is slightly smaller and weighs a little less than the iPhone but the screen size is exactly the same on both models, except the iPod Touch beats the iPhone by 3 dpi.

Along with announcing the iPod Touch, apple also announce a number of updates to the current iPod line. Both the Nano and the current 80GB iPod models have been upgraded with new metal casing. And the Nano, now has a larger & brighter screen with the ability to play videos. while the current 80GB iPod has been re-branded as the iPod classic, and has had its capacity doubled form 80GB to 160GB. The only member of the iPod family that didn’t get upgraded was the iPod shuffle. I was actually hoping for the shuffle to be upgraded to something slightly bigger say 4GB. Anyway Apple should begin shipping the New iPod Touch this month, so it looks like it’s just in time for Christmas.
After a number of reports from a few friends with WordPress accounts and the limited amount of information I could gather from google, It seams like there’s yet another user going around registering on WordPress blogs, with the intent on either modifying or deleting them. This new user goes by the name: domi95bin4 & the email address: dominicgrebin@gmail.com. There have actually been a few of these bots over the last couple of months, two of which go by the user names: poset97qq & xdfsd45oi I actually posted somthing about them not long ago.
If any of these users register on your blog, I suggest that you remove them from your registered user list immediately and make sure you have the latest version of WordPress installed.
Dean Kamen & the Norwegian company ‘Think’ are working together on a project that sounds extremely similar to the Mr Fusion engine from Back to the Future. Over the last 10 years Kamen has spent around $40 million developing the Stirling engine, which can use virtually any fuel source to heat a sealed container containing a fixed quantity of gas – most commonly hydrogen or helium – that expands and contracts to drive a piston and produce electricity.
These engines are already being used in developing countries, but Kamen started to realise that the engines would never be economical until they were mass produced.
That’s where the Norwegian ‘Think’ car comes in. By combining the two together, you could basically use any combustible material, for example: Diesel, vegetable oil, paper, fast food, timber, cow manure etc.. to help keep the batteries charged. So instead of throwing your rubbish away, you would just use it to power your car. Not only would this extend the Thinks range by hundreds of miles, it would also turn the car into a mobile generator. When electricity demand peaks during the day, thousands of ‘Thinks’ plugged in at office parks could feed power back to the grid. If you have enough ‘Thinks’ out there you would literally change the architecture of the grid, says Kamen
At the moment the Stirling electric hybrid prototype only generates around 1Kilowatt of power unfortunately that’s nowhere near the 1.21 Gigawatts required for time travel.
Futurama’s back after being canceled over 4 years ago. The show will return on November 27th as a full-length high-def film sold on DVD. It will be followed by three additional films, and each film will be divided into four episodes each to be aired on Comedy Central.

I Just thought that I would announce: I have added a new section titled “downloads“, a place where I can put a few of my attempts at art and various other things that I am willing to share with the world. At the moment it is small, with a few wallpaper attempts and a couple of banners. It should hopefully grow as time goes by. Feel free to comment and let me know what you think.
